
CSFP - Low Income Senior Program
Helping Seniors Stay Healthy with Monthly Food Support
Our Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is designed to improve the health and well-being of seniors age 60 and older who are living on a low income. Each month, participants receive a box of nutritious food tailored to help supplement their diet and support healthy aging.
Program Highlights:
Serves 165 of Gaston County’s lowest income senior citizens
Provides a monthly food package including items like canned vegetables, cereal, pasta, shelf-stable milk, and more
Helps stretch tight budgets and support better nutrition
How to Apply:
Seniors must be interviewed and enrolled in the program to receive monthly food support.
Due to high demand, there is currently a waiting list.
